Athletics are an important part of any adolescent experience – from learning new physical skills and sportsmanship to simply enjoying the thrill of activity and competition. Our program must work together to ensure we offer an excellent athletic experience.
Playing sports has a range of physical, emotional, and interpersonal benefits: better vision, health, motor skills development, social skills development, self-confidence, and friendship.
Learning the rules of the game, respect for coaches and referees, and how to stay positive even when losing are all valuable life lessons.
Coaches serve as role models and mentors, helping student athletes develop into well-rounded individuals who are ready to lead teams, compete and succeed in the world.
